    are you talking about trying to loosin the bleeder valve. if they are frozen i would try to spray some tri-flo on there or liquid wrench and let it sit for a bit, then get an actual brake bleeder valve wrench, not vice grips. and instead of trying to just force it loose, maybe tap the wrench...

    i know its a little late now. but if you repaint and put your new master cylinder on. i would switch the whole system over to dot 5 fluid. it wont take the paint off if you spill some, or if the master cylinder leaks again. im sorry to hear about your problem though. that sucks.

    in running the 67 setup on my 63 wagon. but it is a slant 6 so i dont have the header problem you have. i know there is also the offset adapter to make room for big blocks. what if you flip it to move it closer to the engine? i dont know. just an idea. good luck!

    are you running a discs in the front or drums? for a disc setup you can go to the later style alluminum master cylinder. ar engineering sells an adapter kit to go from the 4 bolt pattern to the newer 2 bolt pattern.
