Rockers cost about the same. So we are talking about carb, intake, cam, and headers. All things being equal, in my experience, the 383 will destroy the 360. Just don't over cam it.

I don't have an A body mopar at the moment. When I did I drove it everywhere, with 4.56's. Stopped for gas a lot, and took it easy on the freeway. Hurt a lot of 5.0 feelings with a 66 Barracuda with a 318. Drove it everywhere for about about 4 years. And then the motor blew up.

I think I see a stove bolt Chevy in there. The right ones of those are worth something to some poeple.

Look at the rust dust fly from the 59. I think that car might be compromised.

My experience has been that 318's are Tits on a Ritz. Might not win every race but you always get there. Unless you put some gears, cam, headers, and carb and let it eat.

Ford had a pickup called the 7700 in the late 90's, early 00's. It was like a heavy 1/2 ton for fleets. They were 7 lug.
