    24Wx32L Garage Build

Mine is only 24x24 but has 10' side walls with scissor trusses so in the center it's 12' to the rafters. I could put a lift out about a foot and a half and have enough clearance. But it would be a tight fit at only 24 wide.

    bought my shop a present

Must be that high humidity you folks get there in Georgia. I bought some stuff to line all the drawers with before I put any tools in it, but I'll keep an eye out for any scratches.

    house septic help!

How did he determine that the drain field is bad? If it has failed you would most likely smell sewer and see seepage of black water in the area where the drain field is. X2 on getting another opinion.

    My main vise.

Although I have lots of vises this thread is about my bench vise. Yesterday I broke my 4" vise so I started looking for a new one. Looked at Harbor freights vises, then looked at them on Amozon.com. Then thought I'd look on craigs list to see if there was anything. The first ad that popped...

Were to buy auto body supplies on line.

Adam, check on amazon.com. I bought my paint though there. When the paint came it was from TCP Global. When I checked on the price on tcp's web site the price was the same as on amazon, but I got free shipping through amazon.

    Blast Cabinet Visibility

I shut off the top lights in my shop when I'm blasting and only use the light inside the cabinet. Makes a world of difference with visibility in mine.

Anyone modified roof trusses to fit a lift?

The trusses I put in my shop have a 6-12 pitch for the roof and on the inside of the shop they are pitched at 4-12. My walls are 10' and in the middle it's 12' to the ceiling. Sorry I can't remember what they called them, but they sure worked good.

    Sandbasting cabinet

I have the same cabinet. I hook my shop vac up to the outlet on the left side and open the vent in the back and the vacuum keeps the dust down so the light inside works a lot better. Also helps to see inside better if I turn out my shop light when I'm using it.
