It's finally on the road - spent a while getting some parts. Had a leaking exhaust manifold, and if you've never had to repair a slant 6 manifold let me tell you - it's a life changing experience :) Runs great, will be my daily driver now. Just for kicks found an original 1976 Bicentennial...

Will be a good-weather daily driver. And if it doesn't start or something, will hop in the 76 Swinger. Or the 76 Duster. Or.......

Might need to get a 4 post lift, just to be able to store more cars not really for working on them. Anyone have one - need some opinions. Thanks, super70bird

Owning a Superbird, you'll hear more bs stories than you can imagine. There were only about 2000 made, but I've had probably 4000 people tell me their dad/uncle/friend/etc had one. And it would go 200 mph. And so on....

Great info here! Couple of things: The 1975 Duster stripe could be had on a non-360 car. I had a 21k mile original slant 6 Duster with this stripe. The lightweight (Feather, Lite) cars could be had with 318s and automatics - not all were slant 6 w/ overdrive. Easy way to id a 1976 a-body...

I've got the scatblast 960, works wonderfully! Has doors on both ends, and you can buy an extension to replace 1 door which adds another 1.5' of room.
