I went to my local glass store and bought some cerium oxide.You mix it with a small amount of water and buff it with a sponge wheel like you would those plastic headlamps.You have to take your time and carefully buff it,but the small swirl marks and light scratches will come out if you keep...

I use 3M adhesive remover.It works great for me..... Good Luck

I would take the primer from the areas I was working with body filler.My opinion is you want your body filler to bond to the bare metal as it will not bond too good to primer. Just my 2$ worth.....Good Luck

I went thru the fresh air/heater boxes on mine.Took a vacum cleaner hose and wiggled it thru plus a little air blowing thru the cowl helped.Mine cleaned really well.The smaller the vacum cleaner hose the better off you are.... Good Luck.....

Myself,I would cut it out treat the rusted areas that are affected ,fabricate a patch panel and weld it back in.(Unless of course you can easily find another lid that is reasonable priced). That does not appear to be a bad repair.I am repairing one that needs a whole lot more work than yours...

I used DURAMIX 4125 to re-glue mine and believe me it works well for the hood and trunk lid.Also the center roof bow .You should be able to get it from your Dupont paint store.I bought mine off ebay it was 1/3 the price,but I bought several tubes.. Hope this helps out.
