    Question about Dodge hubcaps

Those wheel covers will fit any/all 14" Mopar steel wheels and your '68 Dart. There are some factory spinner caps that require a wider (deeper) factory wheel (which you may have) but not these.

    Question about Dodge hubcaps

Tough to answer your question definitively. Describing spinners makes me think of wheel covers and not hubcaps though the terms are often used interchangeably. If you are referring to hubcaps specifically there are basically two sizes (diameters) used on passenger cars from early 60's to late...

Aluminum slant 6 - not mine - Red Lion, PA

I've seen many of these over the years. Like any slant they will often start and run. The question I always ask is will it hold anifreeze. I've seen many of these that rotted out behind #6 cylinder at the base of the cooling passage/cylinder. Then I check the cylinder tops at the head gasket for...

Has anyone seen this Formula S "interior" emblem?

I think it's an add on due to incorrect colors. The three colored band around the center "S" should be red, white and blue. This one has black in place of the blue. Speculation though, no proof, but I agree with others who have said they have not seen this emblem on other "S" cars.

For the M-Code guys, one of the yellow fastbacks is on Ebay.

The Yellow car has been offered for sale on Ebay off and on over the last 5-6 years I'm aware of. Price is about the same now as it was the first time I saw it on Ebay. I'm always a little leery of these mega sellers and hesitate to buy from them even if car was within my budget.

Help me price an Aluminum front bumper frame for Duster

I searched Feather Duster bumper and (4) candidates popped up. They ranged in price from $100-$350. None of them were marked sold. So rare as it is, apparently it is not a hot commodity. You could start a conversation with those sellers individually and ask them if they did sell since they may...

Help me price an Aluminum front bumper frame for Duster

It can be difficult to price rare parts. So diymirage's method isn't a bad place to start though I can't say if his starting price is reasonable or not. Start off to high and you'll drive interested parties away because they'll see you as unreasonable and unapproachable. Have you searched the...

1965 Corvette vs 1970 Plymouth Duster - PURE STOCK DRAG RACE

Looked up shipping weight on a 'vette website. The published data isn't far off what's quoted in the video. I really did think they were heavier.

1965 Corvette vs 1970 Plymouth Duster - PURE STOCK DRAG RACE

Years ago when street racing I used to pick on Corvettes because most folks thought they were lighter than my '62 Belvedere which they weren't. Would like to know where A56 came up with the weight number quoted for the 'Vette as it seems to low. While these discussions are fun, on any given day...

    This is why I don't use E-bay

You can often see shill bidding. In the posted list of bidders you can click on the moniker h***n of the winning (or any) bidder and their bid history will pop up. The defining statistic is "% of bids with this seller". If it's above 50-60% it's likely a scam. If it's 100% it is absolutely a...

    What's it worth? '72 Duster

Given you're in So Cal, does it have a clean title? Makes a difference here in AZ also. Does it need only exterior rear quarter patches or both inner and outer? A '73, '74, or '75 are worth a bit more and generally easier to sell locally since no smog required unlike a '76. I'd put it on...

School me on a-body steering columns please

Generally "A" body column assemblies can be grouped as '60-'61, '62-'66, '67-'69, and '70-'76. Within these groupings column assemblies are typically interchangeable as whole units. This is not to say they are exactly identical in every way within a particular group. For example in the last...

whitepunkonnitro is a liar and a scammer

I was wondering if you saw and/or were offered pictures of the bumper before purchase? Dents would show up I'd think. Pitting of chrome/chrome condition I have found difficult to photograph clearly. Unfortunate the two of you can't work things out. I have done my best to offer written...

Ever just want to walk away from the old car thing?

I certainly fall into the "Take a break" group. Selling it seems so final. My little Valiant and I have covered over 1.2 million miles together in the last 35 years and yes old cars can be a pain. I even bought a new muscle car, to satisfy my wife who was embarrassed about my old car in the...

    Shipping Sh....tuff

I think you got bad advice from postal clerk. Flat rate box is universal within their (USPS) system with regard to size and weight (but not cost) in all 50 states AND U.S. protectorates like Somoa or Guam. If these fit in a USPS flat rate box (large) it would only be $18.00 to ship. the only...

    Problems with Mike440

Paypal has always worked with/for me even in private transactions. I had sent some stainless trim stripes to an Australian member who had in fact ordered the wrong thing. Paypal forced the refund from me to him even though it was his error. So I'm surprised to hear of Paypal's inaction from...

I did this conversion on my 86 D350 dually and it's a mixed bag. At this point, with 60K on the conversion over the last 7 years, I'm still neutral. I'm not sure this is a serious seller. I personally know of two offers to trade. First offer was for a very nice original 74 Dart 4dr running and driving with SL6 and A/C. The second one I know offered them their '96 Harley Electroglide, a beautiful machine as straight up trades. Neither of...

crap luck or what?? sold a rare car

The truest comment is that these kinds of stories always come up after you sold the car. This is just people being people, and not people I like. If you had sold it for 25g's the story would be it was worth 50g's etc. I had a neighbor once who tried to buy my car for years, on a weekly basis...

Finallly something that doesn't seem overpriced...part it out??

To me parting cars out is more trouble than it's worth. However I still do it because the local self serve yards have raised prices to the point that it's often cheaper to buy a whole car to get what I need and scrap the rest for the cost recovery. I do try to sell any extras to fund my current...

Yes in a nutshell. If kit is only upper and lower control arm bushings and balljoints. Tie rod ends are also the same.
