    I have used both in my 65 Valiants over the past 50 years . The Carters are better, the Hollys always end up leaking gas all over the manifold . I even switched out the stock Holly on my 76 Aspen 225 slant with a Carter from a 65 Valiant and it was a bolt in job . It woke that mother right up...

    The carbs I have are all from 65-67 slants both 170 and 225 I doubt the parts would interchange into a late 70's pollution controled carb

    That looks like a standard Valiant/Dart tank no different than the US models so you should be able to get a new replacement one from a few vendors that are on Ebay.I've seen them as low as 90 USD on there.
