procomp is cheap a s s s h i t i ran a set of there heads on my mustang a few years ago total garbage, you get what you pay for. every time

it shoul help. i ran it on my 347 in my mustang with a novi1200, it worked well, pull a couple deg of timing if you can. you dont have to spend the big bucks on boost juice either, its just washer fluid

no i havent tried yet, but ive seen a few videos on youtube. heres what im thinkning for the 340. .040 10.5-10.9 flat top pistons, eagle forged stroker kit with hbeam rods, file fit .0035 rings, comp cams hr294hr cam or hughes HUG HEH4650AL piece, i want monster flowing heads, no off the shelf...

has any one run them or know anything about them? im considering running them on a stroker 408. im looking to make about 550 hp. im thinking compcams hr295xr cam, tell me if this is the wrong cam or should i go bigger, all the help i can get is appriciated

thanks 1970 duster and jerry, ill put the x heads away. this will be a weekend car, gas millage doesnt matter, it will have an aluminum rad and twin fans for sure, im looking for around 550hp na. what do you guys recomend. on a side note i picked up a 5.7 core today for 100 bucks lol

lol exactly, theres no fender tag, its missing. i love the fact that its factory 340 car, im not a clone fan. i havent found the build sheet yet, i checked under the rear seat so far, ill get into it in august when i get home

i totally get what you guys are saying, and to me its just a bonus thats its a factory 340 car, but im gonna do the hemi swap any way lol, one thing that stikes me as odd is that its an 8 3\4 but its an open diff, i was sure it would have been a sure grip, any ideas?
