    With dog dish hubcaps on, you can not tell if which bolt pattern the wheel is. And both bolt pattern wheels are 5.5 inches wide.

    The casting date, the engine assembly date and the car build date are widely varied. Hemis could be up to 2 years old before they were assembled.

    Stripes and other stuff can be changed sometime in it's life. Take pictures of VIN plate, data tag and door sticker as well as the K-frame. Also pics of the engine and rear end. Post them here and we will nit pick the hell outta it!

    1966 Barracuda radiator shroud / cooling questions

    cosgig has exactly what you need !! You have an air flow problem at no/low speed. Shroud makes sure all the air the fan pulls comes thru the radiator. Fan clutch lets the fan slow down when max air flow is not needed. Electric fans draw a lot of current and without a shroud will not...

    I think they started Barracuda production in mid-March. It takes a while to ramp up production, get the initial batch built and then distribute them to all the dealers.

    loosing power/backfire through carb

    Check to make sure your accellerater pump is properly adjusted so it squits fuel as soon as the linkage starts to move. Backfire thru carb when throttle is pushed means the engine is going lean until the carb can suck enuff fuel to ensure the right mixture.
