Depends on if it is ready to run or needs to be freshened up. Being used I would always assume it's going to need work unless stated otherwise. Two thousand seems to be close to the going rate +/-$500 If you find one that needs work I'm sure it is not going to be cheap or easy to find parts...

Seen a brand new NOS one sell on ebay not long ago for about $2,600. Whenever I see that setup I think of the Jim Henn Nova that use to run around So. Cal. no trailer and running 10.00's at 135mph. Jim was running that blower and nitrous on a small block Chevy in an early Nova, total sleeper...

Most bigger hp chevys cars seem to really twist up on launching unless they have pretty serious chassis and suspension modifications. The Mopars cars don't really seem to have those same issues. Could it be the difference between a unibody car vs a full framed car? Or do you think it is...

I know this is kind of old an old post, Indy Cylinder Heads has a manifold that should work for the W2/360-1 heads and a blower set up

I would be interested in knowing for 100% sure if that removable seat belt bar is NHRA legal because I like it. When I had my cage done 6 tears ago the builder said it wouldn't be legal or I read it somewere can't remember. I don't have a current rule book handy to check.

I would think a entry level kit with little to no cutting would appeal to most. If they can design a kit to make a little 273 ci motor put out 275HP vs the stock 175 hp for around $2000 it would be a winner. Might even buy one myself.
