Around here MOST washer fluid is labeled 'Winter' or 'Summer'. Never had any freeze solid, but have had slush in the bottle if I still had a lot of the higher temp stuff in when it gets too cold.

The small 1/2 inch hose goes to the upper fitting on the head. Bigger hose is 5/8 inch and goes by the radiator hose on the water pump. My 75 has a vac controlled valve to cut off water to the core. I have a 74 manual and they don't show it. Probably why your hoses are disconnected. Amazing...

That one goes to the fan motor. My post is referring to the one that comes out below the evap.

The DMT tubes came with plastic reducer ends. Not needed for mine, but may be for what you have

I got replacement tubes for my 75 Duster from DMT. They are heavy rubber. Not the original material and no clamps on end. Fit snug on the vents and box. Note - DMT does not make these, but I gave Jim my originals and he is hoping to produce them at some point.

I did an AC box. That looks like the piece that wraps around the tubes where they go through the box.
