Thank you, yes I'm trying to pull every extra gram out of this car. I was thinking of making stops for the quarter glass to keep them up too.

Timing Chain Cover crankshaft opening is the wrong size

It can be seen, but if you have PS I doubt it. This is how I know the 67 damper mark does not line up with the 70 up cover. I have a 67 with a 70 up cover, and the 67 timing mark

My New Toy 1968 Barracuda Fastback Formula S

I did a little wet sanding and wheeling on the hood and roof today, very happy with the way it came out. I even had the chance to put a few parts on, the outside is almost done but still have interior work to do. Hoping to put some insurance on it soon and get it legalized. I miss my 66 but this...

    Vin trouble

It's stupid to flip a rear end. There are pockets and runs that catch debris that are now on the top. The ring gear now sits on the passenger side of the pinion instead of the driver's side, moving the pinion to the left side of the tunnel instead of going down the middle of it. Does a person...

Deleted them to save weight. The only thing you need is the tracks. A lot of guys even deleted the inside door latch handles and linkages- just drop the window and open the door with the outside handle. Door locks went bye-bye too.

    Holley Double Pumper Question(s)

It might be on the fast idle cam? You don't need that bracket as long as your throttle cable is connected to the hole under the big hole, which provides the correct ratio.

Timing Chain Cover crankshaft opening is the wrong size

If you've got the iron water pump on the '70 and up timing cover, I'm shocked that you can even see the timing marks to use the timing light- kudos! The marks should be accurate (reasonably) as long as you've got the '73 damper on it with the '70 and up timing cover. No need to change anything...

How did the dudes back in the bo/lo dart and barracuda ss days do the door windows? I would like to also do what they did since I'm trying to do a somewhat period correct build but as a 70 dart pro stock. I know they had snaps on old seatbelts But what did they do inside with the rest of the...

'69 Barracuda T56 swap, floor, cross member

Was able to wedge carpet between floor heat duct and raised trans tunnel. Had to pull padding off back side of carpet in that area. It was tight took a while to wedge it into place. Normally there is 1.5 inches or more of clearance between floor heat ducts and original trans tunnel. Only the...

    Lean idle. Rich cruise.

Out of the box most of these 3 e-hole blocks are over 'emulsified'. In other words the fuel is no longer an emulsion of liquid with little tiney amounts of air but liquid with big bubbles coalescing randomly and unpredictably. So maybe the problem isn't fuel. Or the circuits you're messing...
