Thinking about parting ways with my A body, give me opinions on what I should ask for it.

It's a 70 with a mild 360. 72 block, J heads, .030 over, about 9.5:1 compression, Edelbrock Airgap intake, Demon 625cfm carb, MP electronic distributor, and a Comp 268 cam (if I remember correctly, I'd have to dig up the cam card). 727 was rebuilt about 15 years ago (no leaks), good steels and...

    Short video of my car.

It was due for it's state inspection, so I decided to put the Go Pro in it since I didn't have any video of it yet. Dart drive.m2ts - YouTube

Anyone here have experience with bend-pak lifts?

There is a guy local to me that has this model for sale: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_126122_126122 Anybody here have one or used one? I figure it would be pretty useful for when I have to do suspension and brake work on my wife's Golf and my Subaru since they don't...

    Bought a new car

Snuck out of the house a couple weeks ago and picked this up: Hope the wife likes it, since it is her anniversary present. I'm going to give it to her next month. It's a 67 T code car with a 302/3 speed/9" and all new suspension underneath. It needs about a thousand little things...

Took the Dart to the track for the first time in 9 years

Last night I took my 70 to the track for the first time since 2000. Best et: 14.31 @ 94 mph with a 2.19 60ft Best trap: 14.43 @ 97.74 with a 2.39 60ft Car is totally out of balance and the tires must be made out of axle grease, first gear was completely useless, which is ironic...

Wow, what a bad day for me.

I decided to swap my 4.10's/Detroit locker out for my 3.23 sure grip set in my 70 so that I could go the track tomorrow. First two of my 3" Moroso studs sheared off (even though I've had them off recently), then while pressing the busted studs out the axle flange bent. Deciding to press on I...

How far do you guys drive to the track?

I'm going to have some time off here pretty soon and I want to get my 70 to the track (hasn't seen the strip since 2000). Problem is, I can only cruise @ about 50mph with the 727 and 4.10's. Which isn't a big deal except the track is 85 miles away one way. How far do you guys drive?

Sold my 73 Swinger today. :(

Finally sold it, bought it right at three years ago. Did a bunch of work to it. Guy came and picked it up for his 15 year old son today. Sad to see it go, but now I'll have more time/room to finally get started on my 72 Charger.

So I converted my 03 Neon to green coolant

Am I going to have problems?

    Don't you hate trust miles?

You know, after you do some major work on your ride, or it burns something up and you fix it, then that next hundred miles or so makes you just a little bit more nervous.

    WIW: My 72 Charger

72 Charger, original /6 auto, power disc brakes, heat, A/C, PS, rally package with rally gauges, hide away headlights, and rear defrost. No motor, no tranny, needs a new front valence, needs a fuel tank, has a little rust in the quarters, a rust hole in the drivers side fender, still has all the...

Make sure you seal your bolts up.

Otherwise this will happen: My 4X4 had a stuck PS bolt, I thought it was suck in the block, turns out it was frozen to the timing cover. Seems one of the previous owners decided to save the .05 cents worth of silicone it would have taken to seal up the bolts on the front of the engine...

    Finally got it together

Finally got the hood painted (didn't come out as good as I'd hoped, but it's OK), and got the new wheels on it. Yeah I know, it's filthy, it's been sitting for the last three years while I worked on it.

    Devil's in the details

Where did you guys with black wrinkle MPP valve covers get your breathers and PVC rubber grommets at? Are they the same part#'s that the tin covers use? Thanks

    Frustrated

I've been trying to get my 70 together. I got the engine back from the machinist back in November. Cost more then it should have, and took two weeks longer then I expected. Tried to assemble the engine. Ran into an oil pump clearance problem with the ARP bolts, a week later, got a new bolt from...

I was a little busy today *pic*

At least I think so: Anybody know how I can fix my hood hinges? They are super sloppy, and have always rubbed against my fenders when I would close the hood, it's done this ever since I got the car.

    Storing parts?

Since I found out the 383 in the Dart is shot, and I finally got the car home. I'am planning on stripping the car down to nothing and painting it, doing some dent repair, etc. A bunch of the parts only have about ten miles on them (the 727, the master cylinder, waterpump, wheel cylinders, etc.)...

Mopar Performance short blocks, any good??

Part #P4876908 Are these any good? I've heard of a couple folks having problems with the Mopar crate motors. But $1250 doesn't seem too steep. Anybody had a good experience with them?

    Buyer beware...

I bought the 383 that is in my Dart about a year ago from a guy named Steve Caladar in FT Worth,TX. I was told that it ran well, didn't smoke and was ready to run (supposedly 12's in a light Chally). Well, it sat for about 8 months before I could get it in the car (I kept it taped up and oiled)...
