Cruising in the 67' Barracuda...pulled into my buddies driveway and died? Would only keep running if I had the key engaged for awhile, which is not good for the starter. Waited for a couple of minutes and would started right away and drive. Ignition relay switch? Thanks in advance.

Converted from a 2 barrel to a 4 barrel setup with an Edelbrock performer 1406 series carb and intake manifold. What I have read is to get the throttle bracket(Mancinni Racing) and Trans Kick Down Cable Kit(Lokar). Is this the way to go???
