I cant seem to get my shifter handle out. I know how it is supposed to come out. I know I have seen the other posts but I am not seeing any visual examples, and for the life of me I cant get a shim in there to pop anything loose. I have been spraying this thing down daily to try to break it up...

Who has done this? I did some research and it seems almost too straight forward so I was wondering what issues I may run into. Thanks
