Trying to find out what bench seat with headrests would fit my 1967 barracuda convertible.

Anyone know why the 5/16" mounting studs on the bucket seats are so freakin' long? About 2" I'd say. I'm guessing maybe a multi model use. Anyway because of that I was able to have my seats sit an inch higher by using some heavy duty threaded rod couplers as spacers.

Have a rip in the top of thr back seat. Any ideas on repair besides the obvious?
