Neighbor took 65 Cuda for a drive yesterday said he heard a pop when goin over a speed bump, smoke came rollin from under the hood and within seconds flames followed, not much left, by the time fire dept got there it was over. We live in the country so it was a volunteer dept.

72 Dart picked up another cluster to replace mine which has several broken pins, wanted to check speedometer using a drill and the needle bounces all over the place anything I can check to fix it? Doesn't seem to be anything wrong that I can see Thanks

Motor is ready to go in, the Dart even opened it's hood a little to take a peek at its new engine

Got engine compartment cleaned took bulkhead connectors apart and cleaned now hope to get motor finished, in and runnin by fri the 10th my b-day

My motorhome has full syn rotella although it only has approx 500 miles on oil it's over 10 yrs old does age affect syn oil? Should I change it? Chevy 454 big block Thanks Bruce

93 ram van 250 odometer works but speed way off went to replace speed sensor on trans when I pulled the connector fluid ran out could that have shorted something on the dash? Still doesn't work with new sensor and connector. Thanks

Any tips for putting new thermostat in 93 Ram Van 5.2? I did the last one from inside, the darn alt/compressor brkt covers the housing, if I remember it took over 2 hrs all done by feel as the dash is right on top of motor right where I need to be to see. Any tips greatly appreciated

93 ram van speedo started readin 15 to the slow side now barely works but odometer works wierd part is now that the speedo is way off the od and lockup which hasn't worked in yrs is workin picked up 2 mpg and put a gps speedo on my ph and all is good!!!

Has anyone bought or used engine tech parts from bbj automotive in waco tx? Prices seem pretty low compared to others Thanks Bruce

Check out Duke motors out of New Zealand on u-tube looks pretty efficient and produces good power with almost no vibration sorry haven't figured out how to copy and paste links from phone

Not an A-Body question, I changed the thermostat in my 93 B-250/318 mag, about 2 yrs ago and it took me over 2 hrs, the bracket for the alt and a/c compressor covers up the housing, is it easier to remove or move the bracket forward to gain access, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Bruce

Got the 318 apart today it had a small piece of metal embedded in the top of #2 piston and was hitting the head. MeMike thought that was the noise when I originally posted back in Nov last year. Don't know where it came from no broken piston, no broken rings, no bad valves, must have come down...

Saw this on a 50 Lincoln at a car show. Looks like the bottom piece is an oil filter as it has lines running in and out.
