    Collector Size

    Engine, 414 stroker, dynoed at 512hp and 525tq through a set of 1 3/4 hookers. I ran it for a while through a pair of Dougs and ran very consistent 7.17 @ 95mph in the 1/8, with a best 7.06 through a 2 1/2 x pipe exhaust with cutouts. 1.55 60'. I installed some hooker 5303 1 7/8 headers, but...

    Trunk bulkhead thickness?

I put a fuel cell in my trunk, and remember seeing in the rules that you need a wall between the trunk and passenger compartment if the cell is in the trunk. I can't find my book to look it up, but I was thinking it needed to be 1/8" thick, so I bought a sheet of 1/8" aluminum, but it looks like...

*Need help on how to wire up a switch panel*

I'm trying to wire up a switch panel in my Duster with a master switch and start switch (along with fuel pump, water pump, and fan switches), but I'm running into a problem. I've got them wired and the start switch works to turn over the motor, but I'm not getting anything to the ignition...

    What size electric fan?

I'm putting an electric waterpump drive on my Duster. Right now, I'm running one of the wide blade flex fans on it, and the temp is OK. What size electric fan (in CFM) would I need to get the same flow? The car sees very little street use, mostly just track, and mostly 1/8 mile.

    Heat Cycling Tires

I've seen Heat Cycling offered by a couple tire places for drag radials. What is this, what does it do, and is there a way to DIY? Sounds to me like driving around a while long enough to get them heated up, maybe a burn-out, and let them cool down completely.

Got my heads back from porting...is this ok???

I just got my heads back from being ported today. I won't say who did it until I get to talk to them first. They are magnum heads, fully ported. They broke through where the valve cover bolt holes are. In one port, the hole is about 3/16" X 1/8", and the rest are pinholes with paper thin metal...

    Cryogenic treatment

I'm building 410" stroker for my '74 duster. I have an Eagle Cast crank that I was going to get cryogenically treated for strength, but I just read somewhere that cryogenic treatment doesn't do any good on Cast. If it doesn't do any good, why is it offered? Does anyone have any knowledge of...
