Trying to track down a car last titled and registered in California in 1977. Would the state have any records on this? I understand once something has gone unregistered for 5 years it is purged from the system, but I would think there should be a record somewhere. Can anyone help with this...

Got a call from my brother in Nevada seems he dug up a car with no VIN tags on it and a "lost title" yeaaaaa. Anyway my answer right away was, no way but then again I am often wrong. Can you title a car like that? I think Nevada is about the easiest state there is but I dunno?

Anyone have a place for a speedo cable that is correct for a 70 A body? Seems like the part store ones I have found are all about 18" too long even though they claim to be the right one. I keep finding like 80" cables but I think our Darts use like a 68" or so, at least that's how long the old...
