General Description
This was powered by a 340 from one of my 70 Swingers. It had a shorty powerglide and 8-3/4. The only thing that ever broke was the transmission. Imagine that! :roll: The motor was basically stock with a .507 hydraulic Comp cam like the big purple shaft, .030 10.5 TRWs, and a mild pocket port on 2.02 J heads. The rear was a very narrow 8-3/4, 4:30 gear, with Mark Williams spool and axles, You want real good parts when your legs are over the axles, and your you-know-what is behind the pumpkin...
