After years of treasure hunting, I finally pulled that 727 out and cast it aside for some real driving. I scored a totaled 75 slant six custom with an OD unit. I ripped all the parts I needed off it and went to work. I bought a bellhousing from a dismantlers, but it was a 66-67 bell with the 9.5 clutch. I was bummed. I ended up scoring a bell on this site from Kim aka oldkimmer. She was great! Saved me big time. Ran that bad boy down to the machine shop and machined it for the OD unit. I...
