THIS IS MY NEWEST PROJECT SHE WAS A 225/6 NOW SHE SPORTS A FRESH 360 WITH A 904 AUTOMATIC SHE HAS A LONG WAY TO GO BUT SOON I HOPE TO HAVE HER ON THE ROAD.:clock:
I promised a few pics, so here they are. I've had this car since 1980 and drove it hard till 1988 when I decided to put this tired old mopar into storage. Had I had any foresight I would have bought a hemi-cuda in 1980. Oh well, it is what it is.
Body, paint, and mill were done professionally...
68 DART BORN MEDIUM GREEN, AFTER A WRECKER RAN INTO THE LEFT QUARTER PAN, I DECIDED THAT I WANTED SOMETHING DIFFERENT, ( PAINT ), AND I REALLY LIKE PANTHER PINK WITH WHITE BUMBLE BEE STRIPES.
WHEN THE ECONOMY GET BETTER, I WILL UPGRADE THE GREEN INTERIOR TO WHITE.
I ALSO UPGRADED THE ENGINE...
picked her up for a very reasonable 2500.00. Original bucket, auto console, bbp disc, /6-904, 7.25. RUNNING.minor rust
I sold this wagon in 2010. It was just too rusty but it's organs will live in another wagon!
This is my new project. From Texas, it's an almost rust free 170 Wagon. It will have a Hyper Pak engine with original cast dual manifolds and push button TF. I have a thread going in the members restoration forum.
