[SOLD] (‘74) 318/904 complete Engine and Transmission

I have a 318, 74 date code, with a 904 Transmission. It’s complete from 2 bbl carburetor, to starter, to transmission cooler lines.
Like all of the rest, I was told it runs well, and had a mild cam in it. Oil looks GREAT, appears to have a leak around timing chain cover, but other than that ? Lots of chrome on it already if you intended to add it your build (pan/valve covers/t-stat/etc). Would consider partial trade for other A body items, particularly suspension and/or typical sheet metal

Asking $800 OBO for it all, need it out of the way. Happy to help ship anywhere you want, at your expense.

Never seen a -15 block before. That's by far the highest core number I've ever seen in my life!

Is there a connection with the “-15” and not being able to locate information on the 4006730 casting number anywhere?

Ron, I wouldn't think so. All the "15" means is that that was the 15th run for that given mold. Molds usually didn't last for that many runs. That's the highest number I've ever seen. That's not a bad thing though. It just means the mold lasted a long time.

Well, for sure if you know anybody interested in owning this (could be rare?) 15 out 15 castings please let them know as it is highly motivated to find a new home!

Blanket is almost geographically center of the state. 2hrs west of DFW, NW of Austin.

But, if someone in Texas wants it, I can help meet somewhere, no problem there!
