04 ram oil guage problems

My 04 ram oil guage will not work when i first start it in the mornin when it is cold. I start it and the needle will not move. Shut it off turn it right back on and it will work just fine. It get irriatating to do this each time i start if it is not warm. Could it be the sending unit or something like it

Looks like another ma Mopar sending unit bit the dust. Its seems to be a very common now adays the older they get. Its a very simple repair to perform really.

I had the exact same problem. Replaced the sending unit, the problem was solved.

Yep, same here. I just replaced mine two days ago for doing the same thing.
