.060 over on a 79 360 block

Anyone see any problems going .060 on a 79 360 block?

Should be safe enough, but I wouldn't go any farther than that.

Have it sonic tested. Any year block can suffer from core shift. It's worth the price for the peace of mind.

I wouldn't even think about it unless it was sonic tested. I have what's considered an early thick wall 360 by some and I had it sonic tested and it would have been ok at .060 over for low perf. but not anything over 400 hp.
