1/4 panels

does anyone know if new 1/4 panels for 67-69 dart 2 doors will fit a convert.?
 
caw440, yes they fit. recently put a set of quarter skins from YO on my '69 S convertible. they fit well, they were cut and welded along the uppermost body line before the break to horizontal. they did take a small bit of adjusting, have your trunk floor extensions and such in first, measure three times, clamp once, and measure again. beware though, if you need to replace the outer wheel houses, be prepared to cut and splice. the convertible wheel houses are flat on top, room for the top to fold onto, hardtops and sedans are rounded. paul

We just finished installing AMD quarters on my 69 Dart GTS Convertible. We cut around the the edge where the holes are for the trim leaving about an inch of original metal and welded the new quarter on.
 
Got mine almost 20 years ago guess they were hardtop

Didn't use the full 1/4

To retain the crisp door jamb and gas filler the original was used

Trimmed the jambs about 1/2" behind the factory jamb and used the top part of factory 1/4 for the gas filler opening

They fit fine and look factory
