Cool, but suspension needs work. bouncing front end, maybe shocks. If not, rear suspension. Good luck, nice.

Duster need's to run low 10.8s dipping into the 10.7s to be highly competitive in the 1/4 and 6.8s dipping into the 6.7s in the 1/8 mile.
We are making the m.p.h. for this to happen, just gotta get the 60 ft. times in the 1.41 - 1.42s then we will be in the ball park of sweetness. LOL

YES it is 6 carbs 3 verters 2 trannys so far this past month , we are putting a friends tranny and verter in to try this weekend , he gets a 1.43 60 ft. with his car ,we get a 1.53 60 ft. he has lightweight drums in his tranny , hope this will show us if the drums are worth it lol

Nice job! You all have made a lot of progress in the last year. Kind of like you just stepped right in and didn't miss a beat.

If I recall, the car was close to being set up like a stocker before you started class racing, guess it was not that big of a leap for you guys?

What do you think you need to do to get the launch right?
 
We got our friends tranny and verter in Thursday night , hope Saturday is a good day at the track , some 6.8s in the 1/8 mile would make it a great day , wish us luck . Dane

Wow that thing leaves hard! Congrats. I secretly (okay maybe its no secret) have been wanting to go stock racing. Have you done any events yet?

We've been to some local stock superstock combo races early in the spring , got so frustrated with the car we took a vacation from the car, parked it in the garage for 4 months , and went with our other hobby , tractor pulling.
In 2009 we had this car making 600hp. running 10.0s dipping into the 9.9s. this has been a big change for us coming back with a motor making 1/3 less hp., now 415 hp. 340 but it is finally coming together for us.
