Hey everybody, I have a pretty new converter that is 11 inches. I am thinking of using it behind my 360 with 391 gears and 280 duration cam (67 dart) I know you can't tell me what the stall is but is it a higher than stock stall based on size alone? I am looking for around a 2500 stall.

Actually 11" is a stock size on some small blocks so it may be a high stall and it may not. Is there any numbers or a name brand on it anywhere you could try to look up?

FWIW I have a HS convertor that has a sticker on it. It came from Mopar with this sticker.

I have been told in the past that there is no real easy way to tell what the stall is just by diameter especially if they are all 11".

If it was me and I had the funds I would go with a custom converter made specially for my set up. That way the converter WILL work correctly and I would know exactly what I have. The custom converters are better than the off the shelf models. Dynamic converter is just one company that will make converter just for you set up. You give them every little bit of info of the cars weight, motor, intended use, etc...

Thanks for the input guys, no sticker on my converter Rob (how have you been)? I will probalbly just buy another one and use this on a stocker.
