Pretty sure they don't make an 8" at least in the drag style
I have seen 8.5" with a 4-7/8 backspacing or 3-3/16 backspacing neither works good with the low fender cars like Darts & Early Barracudas, but sounds like you may not have a stock rearend anyways. Here is a picture of some 8.5" X 15" I had on a 70 Dart but I had to run a skinny tire like a 235-70-15 if I remember right. The rims had the 4-7/8 advertised backspacing with stock wheel wells no room inside or outside for a wider tire. Also I found the backspacing to actually be about 4-1/4" on those wheels from the wheel mounting hub to the inside tire bead seat.
