15x7 wheels

would a 205 /70 / R15 OR 215 /70/ R15 tire work on a stock 15x7 wheel??

I am thinking the 205 might be a bit too narrow for the wheel.

I do not want wide tires for a daily driven car so I may have to go with 14 inch wheels if the narrow tires don't work on the 15x7 cop wheel.

anyone tried different sizes on a 15x7 wheel??

Ive had about every size tire from a 195 60 to a 255 70 on a 15 x 7 wheel. The 70 series tires are a great fit on a 7 inch wheel. Its when you try to use 75 series tires on a 7 that they start to look narrow. I have a pair of 215 75 on a couple of 7 " wide centerlines that look like pizza cutters lol. A 225 70 is a great tire for the front and a 235 70 for the back on a 15x7, if you dont want wide tires.

I use 60 series tires on 15" wheels, and 70 series tires on 14" wheels.

yes, a 215 (mm) works great, cuz 215/25.4=8.46" sidewall width. does not really matter if 60 or 65 or 70 or 75-that is aspect ratio (height) they are all 8.46" sidewall width
