1960 valiant slant 6 170 cu in

found my 60 valiant in a barn...partially disassembled... got her home and discovered a few missing parts. the last thing I need is an alternator bracket. problem is.... I have mounting holes already in the block....on both sides of the block....so which side does my alternator belong on?? i've heard they put it on one side then changed it mid year.....anybody got a bracket that mounts on the drivers side? thank you

driver's side bracket is hard to find-- check your cylinder head to make sure the p/s bracket will work-- (bolt hole tapped)
I heard old trucks use the d/s bracket --so you might search old slant trucks.

no pics yet.... its a 4dr red on red on red......looks like it should be a fire chiefs car. I don't have p/s or a/c.
