1963 Valiant 273/60 amp altenator Wire Size

I took the dash apart and found burned wires, surprise.. I want to rewire the main power coming off the battery and alternator and the heahlights and taillights. I plan and using relays for all the lights. What size wire should I use for the lights and what size for the main power from the battery and alternator. Yes I am going to bypass the amp meter.

As I recall, the factory used 12 awg for the BATT and ALT wires and 18 awg for the headlights, but get a drawing which will say. If you want to do a bang-up job, look-up my post on my 65 Dart re-wiring. I put in an under-hood power center w/ relays (junkyard) and shunt any excess alternator current thru diodes so my ammeter still works.
