I am looking to replace my shattered reservoir and am thinking about this set on Amazon.

But before I buy it (pricey!) I would like to see if anyone has an original setup in good condition that they would be willing to sell. This would go on into my 66 Dart GT.

Or if anyone has any thoughts on a better place to purchase this set, please let me know.

Thanks!
~Jimmy

Looks like the only thing missing from that set is the squirters, which are not being reproduced to my knowledge. What kind of price is that set?

Thanks for dropping some knowledge. It appears that there are a few places selling this type of set on amazon / ebay and they vary from $149 to $169 plus shipping. Seems pricey to me...but I am new.

Here are some shots of my current setup:

Yep looks like you have the original squirters. I bet the biggest cost to that "kit" is the pump. The "Mopar" pumps can be pretty pricey. Most of the time the actual problem is the electric motor under the electrical connector that drives the pump. Those type motors are available even in the aftermarket and IIRC are mounted to the aluminum case with a couple of pop rivets. Mustangs of the 65/66 era used pretty much the same identical set up for the pump assembly. The main difference is they stamped a Ford part number on the bottom. I'm not picky so I bought one for my wagon and it looks the same as my broken pump assembly - and it cost less than $35 brand new! The Mopar fluid reservoirs run around $50 when I bought my NOS one. I guess with the hoses the $149 kits is probably fair. At least it's now available as a kit where wasn't too long ago one had to piece everything together.

Very helpful info in your response, thank you. I am hoping to get this stock system running again...just for the challenge!

The only other part of the system that might require attention is the wiper switch. The center knob when pushed in actuates the electric pump motor. All in all the system is pretty simple and reliable when all components are in working order. Good luck!

I have the tank you need, dirty but good. You can message me at 219-331-1312, I'm not on here much anymore.

Thanks coolbreeze but I determined I need more than just the reservoir so I went with the kit a few hours ago. I will mark this post as found. I appreciate the response tho!
