So for anyone wanting to put a bigger clutch in a /6 or 273 go to oreillys and buy the power torque K1525-1 it fits a 83 Dodge d150 /6 engine everything bolts up Do not buy the perfection series from Summit I have ordered 3 of them and every single one I got was damaged and it was$300 verse $170 at oreillys and if you compare the parts they are exactly the same markings and all

the Zoom MU1525-1 kit is also 10" and works a treat and the B&B set up will take a thrashing.

Well zoom got bought out and now the clutch is $300 I couldn't get on delivered without damage from summit Brewers told me what to look for at O'Reilly it's the same part number as "zoom" and when you buy the one from O'Reilly take the parts out of the box it's the same the markings everything for $180

that must be a recent development. i did one just last year about this time and went thru summit and everything was flawless as ususal. i think it was around 250 all said and done.

edit: evidently zoom was bought out by perfection in 08!

i've also used the sachs clutch kit from o'really's and had reasonable luck with that set up as well.

Zoom was bought out by Perfection, which in turn was acquired by...believe it or don't the Berkshire Hathaway real estate company. Weird. Zoom WAS made in USA before anything happened and so far, Perfection seems to be carrying on that tradition.
