I have a 1964 dodge dart been drinkin and thinkin about putting for some sway bars in the front the car did not come with them but and i just bolt it in to my dart? are the hole etc already there?

If your car was not sway bar equipped (most, if not all 64's weren't) you will not have the mounting tabs on the lower control arms. There will probably be some holes on the front of the k-member. This doesn't really matter as aftermarket sway bar kits typically come with brackets. In fact, the quality of the brackets is what makes a big difference between lower and higher cost bar kits. Compare Addco and Firm Feel for example.

I put Hellwig swaybars on my '64 and it made a tremendous difference! The rear bar does clunk occasionally over random bumps.

oh okay so your saying with the after market sway bars i can mount them on the control arms either way? even though my car did not come with sway bars

I bought addco sways and it came with a mounting bracket for the front to use with the lower shock bolt. I didn't have lower control arms with sway bar tabs. I imagine most of the kits would come with a mount for the front. Dustin
