[WANTED] 1964 Plymouth Valiant-Car Door Locks

I recently broke one of my Valiant door locks (drivers side) by pulling the door lock knob up while the key in my door was turned. The center of the door lock now spins freely and I have to open up the passenger door and reach over to the drivers side door to open it. Anyway, I have to assume the drivers side lock is irreparably damaged, so I'm looking for one drivers side door lock mechanism, which I'll have a locksmith re-key. Has anyone had this experience, and/or this part available? Thanks.

Maybe should pull door panel and have a look before you spend any money, possibly just a clip malfunction.

Good to know. Not sure if problem is with lock or rod. I need to remove the door panel to see what's what. Will be in touch if lock needs replacement. Thanks.
