Not really. A 1964 Valiant is not a collector car, in the sense that rarity and "matching numbers" are a factor. As a car for sale, the equipment currently on the car and the condition are really the only factors. I suppose it helps in the sense that a buyer would know that the car hasn't been previously modified, but that really just helps retain the value rather than increase it. This is true even of more "desirable" cars like Barracudas, until you get to the limited edition, high performance variants. Originality would be a significant price factor in a big block 1968 Barracuda Formula S, for instance.
