How can I get the original tachometer to function with a 318 and mopar electronic ignition.

Get the R/T Engineering transistorized conversion and upgrade all those old electronics! I think its still only $75! Comes with easy to follow directions as well!! Geof

Was not aware of this.I have not yet dug into the dash on my 65 but will be before too long and may/will need to have this done. I looked for R/T Engineering's website but could find nothing. Can you provide a link or # please.

Redline Gauges can convert it with modern internals that will work with you Mopar EI as well. Shannon warrantys his work for 2 years as well.

just called them. Sounds like a plan. 200 dollars all in for the conversion.
I think redline may have bought out R/T, who was in cahoots with Dashworx! They still sell the tach boards on eBay for $75, just looked for another member!! I did my own using the tach boards with good results!! Simple soldering skills and about an hour and it was done!!
