For sale is a used tachometer assembly from a 1965 Barracuda....first off, I am pretty sure the tach is not a factory one, but it looks like it has been there since day one...maybe a dealer install? The chrome bezel is correct, the back mounting housing or cup looks correct too....it looks like it has never been apart but there is no way to get the tach out unless you bend back the little tabs on the chrome bezel. Maybe those little marks were from somebody else who dropped this tach in but it fits great. The plastic lens is faded but may polish up. The tach face is hard to see in the pics but looks good and goes up to 8K...it is untested and I am not sure if it works or not.

The chrome bezel has some pitting, most is on the top part but chrome is pretty shiney and bright, could easily be rechromed for show. Part number on the bezel is #2631870, also has the "DPCD" logo. This was an option on the 1965 Plymouth Barracuda and Valiant models, pretty hard to find too. It mounts in the dash housing under the head light switch.

$75 shipped to your USA door, more outside the USA. Sold as is, I am in central MN, thanks FABO :glasses7:
