1965 Dart 14x6" Cragar rims tire size?

I need to know if a 205/70r14 tire would fit on my car, the rim backspacing is 3 1/2". I have a completely stock suspension, basically the whole car is stock, if that helps any.

I have 225/60Rx14 on my '66 with stock 14x5.5 wheels. I've had 235/60R14 in the past.

But those rims do not have the same backspacing as my rims, they have 4" I believe. I just don't want to spend almost $400 on these tires and find out they don't fit on my car

so does anybody know this? Am I gonna have to put a 195/70 on the car?

Try tires and rims .,show your tires and rim combos page 4 second from bottom
64 dart with cragers. Might help going with that on mine

I've got 245/60/14's w/ 3 1/2 backspacing on the rear of my 66 Dart. You should be fine with your choice. :cheers:

Yes, they will work. I have 205 and 215/75/14's on my Valiant wagon.

On my 65 I have 245/60/14 on the back, 207/70/14 on the front. Fronts are 3.375 BS, Rears are 4.125 BS. I did change my rear to an 8 3/4 but they should be ok with your 7 1/4.
