Shermans made trunk to quarter panel extensions just a few years ago that would go in without having to mod up some from a 2nd gen a body. I Think laysons also sold them for a while. I Haven't really looked for them lately.

My thoght on the fitment, a 67 newer is wider and wouldn't be a direct match without mods.

I have checked Sherman does not make early drop downs any more so I still need some help if any one knows where to find some or if you have modified 67-69 please let me know

I just ask the same question in the body section for a 66 earlier today and havnt gotten but one reply. Im thinking about buying one and seeing how close they are. I dont need the total length back to the taillight section so maybe I can fab it to work. Im also in need of the inner fender at the wheel well but I think that will be a fab job. Let me know if you find out anything that will work. The 65 & 66 I think are the same.

Laysons used to advertise the 67 and up extensions would fit the 66 on down cars with some modification. I have a few good body shops on my tool route and they seem to like to make their own panels unless a major panel needs replaced. I'll bet your extensions are good on the topside where they are spot-welded to the trunk floor and just the lower parts need replaced. One thing nice about extensions is that you can't see them from the outside and can barely see them from the trunk. You have to look from underneath to see them. tmm
