Introducing Project "Scabra Tulitque"
Stored in Valley Springs, CA 95252 since November of 2024 (started it a couple of weeks ago Sept/2025 by charging the battery and squirting some SeaFoam down the carb throat). Drove it last year about 1,500 miles on a road trip and added about a quart of oil every 500 miles and got about 20 mpg on the highway with the factory 273 V-8 two barrel automatic. Installed new brakes, new tires, new battery, and new fuel pump before I undertook the long trip. Manual steering and brakes and no A/C. Lights and everything works except wipers act a little weird and previous owner removed the heater blower fan for some reason. The rear window is cloudy/torn so I keep it down/open for better visibility. The top has a tear on the driver's side. Did not have any trouble on the trip except one incident when the carb float must have stuck momentarily. Needs complete restoration (definitely some sheet metal needs replacing in cowl, floor, and lowest portions of quarter panels, doors, and fenders).
