Does anyone make new window regulators for early a's? I need a drivers front. Ive had a few used one in there but they haven't lasted too long.

Nope - used is all there is
Just out of curiosity are you looking for a regulator from a hardtop door, a 2 door sedan door (which is probably the same as one from a hardtop) or a 4 door, which might be the same as the other 2 (the bolt spacing on the inner door where the regulator bolts happens to be the same). If I get a chance I will take a look in ny 65 parts book which should shed some light on the interchangeability of the 3 regulators.
