Hello, I had my UCA's ripped off by a scammer/welder and am going to order some new ones tomorrow. I'm on the fence about going to the bigger balljoint/spindle setup for a couple of reasons: 1. I just renewed my entire stock brake system (Drums) and everything is working great. Will the newer spindles still work with my 10" drums or will I have to upgrade to discs? 2. I also just refreshed my entire front end suspension. Will I also have to replace my lower ball joints to work with newer spindles too? Thanks in advance, -Seabee
Don't go with the big Balljoint UCA unless you are switching to BBP discs. Someone should be able to help you out with a pair of standard UCA.
1. I don't believe they will work someone correct me if I'm wrong. 2. Your current lower ball joint will not work with the big ball joint spindle.
yes, bbp=big bolt pattern. yes you need new lower ball joints with disc brake spindles....your current drum brakes will not work with disc brake spindles because they use a different wheel bearing, which are bigger...
