[Found!] 1967 273 single and dual point primary leads

Hi all,

I'm rebuilding a dual point distributer and need the primary leads, from coil to the points.

I have seen 2 versions, one is a combo lead. It goes from the coil through the dist wall then to one point than to the other point.

The other version looks like it goes from the coil through the dist wall then to one point than a seperate jumper goes from one point to the other.

This is the jumper, the lead to the coil would look like a single point lead.

I have also seen total length from 8 inches (seems short) to 12+ inches.

If course in the process of measuring my stock single point primary leads the insulation cracked in numerous locations. aaaaarrrrrgggg!

Let me know what you have, as long as the insulation is soft and the lengths and connectors are good I'm interested.

If the coil end has been cut I can deal with that as long as the total lengthen is good.

If wire is in good shape other than cracks/brittle, you can put shrink wrap on to protect/preserve.

I did that on the field wire. I might do it on this too. The coil end was already replaced so cutting it off and heat shrinking it will be easy.

A NOS lead is in the 50 to 60 range and I just can't bring myself to do that.




It is so wierd, most of the underwood wires are soft and flexible and others are brittle.

Three styles actually 64 down is a lead and a jumbper then there is the single one LA and a B/rb style. Megaparts has affordable repops for 50 vs 150 Mopar
