1967 Dodge Dart part location

Hello everyone putting back my car back together just have a question identifying location for this piece here. Not sure if it goes underneath the dash.
If you have an idea or pictures I will appreciate.

That piece is for underhood, in front of rad. Those semi circular dimples on the left is where the hood release spring goes.
Hope that makes sense.
