Hello, wanted to build my 340, had blow by, took it all apart to find out it's been bored 40 over all ready. I fear taking it 60 over as it will be mostly a street car.

...and so I'm thinking of selling this now. Will provide date code and vin as soon as I can.

1) 68 340 Block 40 over, no cracks. $300
2) 340 Forged steel crank (I believe its stock, hasn't been cut, might just need polishing, will check) $180
3) 68 340 Timing chain cover $40
4) 340 Oil pan $30
5) Used 40 over cast pistons and stock 340 rods $80
6) Early J heads 1.88 int 1.6 exh (cleaned and steel-abraded) Stock valves, springs, and retainers. $100
7) Windage tray $40
8) 340 Torker single plane intake $50
9) 727 with reverse manual valve body, summit tranny cooler and cooler lines, converter and flex plate in working condition. $400
10) Dart 727 to 8 3/4 drive shaft, power coated dark Grey, needs balancing. $50

OBO

Plus shipping.

Willing to trade, need a 3" X pipe with side cutouts that fits a 68 dart. Need headers. 68 Dart Dash pads or caps, black carpet, black headliner, Black Dart GT seat covers.

do you have the orginal 340 intake manifold from 68?

Sleeve it??
it works on Hemi's, it works on 440's and 383's and 318's why not a 340?
while you are at it...grind the valves on those J's to the same size as the X's

must be something else in your future....all that is less expensive that pickin up a crate or taking a chance on someone else's problems...but its your call

Everything sold to a local friend. Sorry guys. Ended buying a different 340 short block, local deal.
