I recently bought a complete 383 removed from a 68 charger 20 years ago complete from carb to oil pan wiring harness still attached just cut. I'm giving you guys first shot before it hits eBay parts Wise.

Non a.c. pulley set up $75

Carter afb carb decent rebuilder 4299s h6 150

Did more looking turns out it's a 67 date motor C383 on the passenger side pad so no vin I'll be pulling the valve covers tomorrow I'm guessing it will have 915 close chamber heads

'67 383 would have 516 castings oem. Only 440s in '67 had the 915, but not all. Some early 440's had the carryover '66 158 castings.

If it's a late '67 block sent to the line for a '68 Charger, it could have 906's. If it's a '67 model engine that someone swapped into that Charger, it'll probably have 516's.
