1968 904 rooster comb in a 1971 harness

Hi all have a question. My reverse lights are on constantly in D 2 1 but not in P R N my car is 1971 dart swinger trans is out of a 1968 valiant was told the rooster comb can be swapped out for the right one or replace valve body with correct year range. Any info on this

Check with Sonic. They have the replacement plastic but I’m not sure if it fits the older linkage. Kim
