1968 Barracuda Rocker Panel Gill Molding Set (4 pieces)

This is a pretty rare option for 1968, not many of the cars produced ended up
with them on the cars, and they were not a Formula S package item. They were part of a "Spring Package" accessory that a few cars got as part of that package, but otherwise they had to be ordered on all other cars. Very few ever made it on to the majority of cars. Look at the Shows, you will not
see them on most of the cars of this year.

This set came off of a Texas car, so they are in relatively good shape, with only very slight pitting on the Gills (pot metal) portion of the set (NOT NOS, but overall better than most you will see on the market). The Front "Spears" section of the moldings are aluminum (and are usually the portion of the set MIA). These show wear, but have no holes and could be refinished by someone who knows how to refurbish aluminum and made to look almost new again. The factory painted the body rocker under the "Spears" an argent color (regardless of the color of the car), to give a look of being one big wide molding.

These could be used on any Barracuda year (even an E-body, given that they shared the same 108" wheelbase as the A-body versions).
